With the current COVID19 pandemic, the world seems to be on “vacation-mode”. Malls are closed, schools in Ontario are done for the rest of the year, and people are working from home. You are excited in a way that you feel like you will have all the time to eat right, sleep right and exercise. A day passed, a week passed, nothing is happening. You are staying up late to watch TV because you don’t have to wake up earlier, and your entire routine is messed up!
Here are some of the ways to STOP bad new habits from developing.
1)Sleep at a set time. Make sure that you set a time for bed. This will make sure that your circadian rhythm is normal and free you from feeling tired and no energy when you wake up in the morning.
2)Eat your meals at regular times. It is easy to skip lunch or have a late night dinner, however those habits are not going to serve you. You want to make sure you are fasting for at least 3 hours before you go to bed.
3)Set a specific time to work out. It is easy to keep track of all of your activities especially with stay in doors. Make sure you track how much movement you got in daily to keep your body active.
